Stay Super Healthy On Vacation With 5 Easy To Follow Tips
When your vacation finally comes you are ready to jump on the airplane and have a massive blowout. You will probably want to stuff as much food and drink into your mouth that you can physically manage. It's OK to have a little fun, but there's no point going somewhere and having something bad happen: you get sick or your skin looks like it's about to fall off. Stay healthy when you're away. If you don't know how, here are a few great tips for staying healthy when you're on vacation.
Watch Yourself With Spicy Food
If you're like most people you will probably only have a 2-week vacation. Maybe just 1-week. That means you won't really have time to let your stomach adjust to the food. If you are going somewhere that has a diet full of spicy food this could be quite dangerous. It might seem like a great idea to get stuck into the spiciest food you can handle, but you will probably spend the last few days of your holiday with your head over the toilet. Your stomach will be so painful you won't be able to leave your room. Just take it easy with the spicy food.
You Are Not a Cactus
A cactus can lie out all day in the middle of the desert. A cactus doesn't get sunburn. You are not a cactus. If you end up going crazy and spending all your time under the sun you will end up with burnt skin. Let's not even go into what it will do to your skin in 30 years. If you want to get a suntan you should at least use protection. That's the cream you rub on your skin in case you were wondering. And stay out of the sun during the hottest time of the day. Take a siesta.
The Other Protection
If you are single you might want to go on holiday to find love. Isn't that sweet? But if you come back full of horrible infections it will be anything but sweet. If you are going to fornicate on holiday you need to wear protection. Your mom and dad might have gave you the chat when you were younger, but it doesn't seem to have helped much. And this is aimed at you single oldies as well. Not just the young pups.
Drink Like a Fish
When you are out in the sun all day you will become very dehydrated. If you drink your normal amount of water, that will be getting used by your body in a hurry. You need to be drinking a lot more that you usually would back home. And that means H20, not alcoholic beverages. You can usually tell you are becoming dehydrated when you start to feel lightheaded, you aren't sweating like you should be, or if you never need to go to the toilet. You won't realize it but the hot weather will take it out of you. Don't let yourself get ill for the sake of drinking some water during the day.
Eat Like a King
On holiday there's a good chance you're going to be going out for your meals every day. Nobody will usually cook anything unless it's a quick piece of toast for breakfast. That means you can order whatever you want without the hassle of cooking it yourself. This is your chance to order some great food that you might not be used to at home. Try some fresh seafood and lots of different vegetables. Proper healthy meals that don't have about a week's worth of calories in them.
